As a child, I always had a passion for creativity and art. My dad is an incredibly talented artist, and I inherited my artistic mind from him and I found endless inspiration in his work. My favorite subject in school was arts and crafts, where I could immerse myself in creative projects. Even on weekends and holidays, I relished organizing my small closet, which I shared with my two sisters. I took joy in arranging our small dresser and school stationery, finding immense satisfaction in creating orderly and beautiful spaces.
As I grew up, my love for sketching and beautifying spaces only intensified. I enjoyed transforming spaces by decluttering and adding small pieces of customized art or décor to enhance their aesthetic appeal. I always aimed for spaces that were clean, clutter-free, and visually pleasing.
The defining moment of my journey came when my family built our dream house. We were involved in every detail — from selecting wall painting and lighting to choosing flooring and wall décor. This experience further fueled my passion for interior design.
Although I pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering to fulfill my parents’ wishes, my heart was always in the creative side. After working for more than 15 years in the banking sector as a PeopleSoft Consultant for reputed brands like HSBC and BNP Paribas, I completed my graduation in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design (NYIAD) and earned my RIDQC certification.
